Penny was one of our foundation bitches. We bought her when my son was
just four months old. Everyone thought I was crazy for bringing home a 4
month old puppy. I have to say that Penny was the perfect puppy; hence
her name Worth Every Penny. She has always had a quiet even
temperament. She is NOT like the 'hyper', over-active labs that are
commonly seen today. She is bred with the traditional quiet friendly
temperament that labs are supposed to have. My expectations are that her
puppies will have a similar temperament since she will be raising them and
teaching them how to behave. Penny is the best Labrador I have ever
owned as far as temperament goes which is one of the reasons I wanted
her for my breeding program. You will not meet a sweeter dog than Penny.
She will always be one of my favorites!
